This morning on my way home from all the school & work drop offs, I drove off the freeway towards my home and came across this beautiful rainbow.

To me a rainbow is a reminder, a promise from God – the Creator of the entire universe – that He loves us. It’s a symbol of freedom, kindness and grace.

The rainbow is, and has always been God’s promise to His children. Those beautiful colours that align in glorious symphony, as a tapestry of radiance in the sky when the rain and sunshine collide – the rainbow – is a gift from God. It’s His!

It’s a reminder that He is God, a living being, who is in communion with His people, who sends reminders of His promise (to never again flood the entire earth), His blessing, and ultimately His love to us in the form of a rainbow that streaks across our skies in radiant splendour.
