We acknowledge that you, our readers are all in different places in your faith journey. You are all welcome. Our relationship with Jesus is the heart of who we are and all we do here at The Whole Living Hub.
We believe in God, the Father. We believe in Jesus Christ, His Son. We believe in the Holy Spirit. We believe in the Trinity – the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit are three-in-one. We believe in the Virgin birth. We believe in the Resurrection and Life Eternal. We believe in Baptism and the Holy sacrament of Communion.
We believe that God is Creator & Finisher; Alpha & Omega; Start & End; and Author & Perfector. We believe that God is Love, Truth and Grace. We believe in the name of Jesus and His Power to Save. We believe that Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and Life. We believe that the Bible is the Living and True Word of God and that Christ is the centre of it all.
Living a Christ centred life is not about attending a church or doing good things… And even if it were, that wouldn’t be enough because we’ve all messed up in life anyway – we are all imperfect humans (see Romans 3:23).
We all know what it’s like to have distance in a relationship because of hurt. With God, there’s only one way to close that gap. Jesus came to earth and died on the cross to make that happen. The Bible says in John 3:16 (NIV):
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
We believe that when we pray, “Jesus, You are my Saviour. I give all of my life to you. I ask for your forgiveness and I receive your grace. From this day forward, I live for you.” then our relationship with God is made right and we become His forever (see Romans 10:9).
We will still mess up and make mistakes, but we can always come to Him again and simply say, “Jesus, I’m already yours. I know I’ve hurt you, but will you please forgive me?”, just like it says in 1 John 1:9 (NIV):
“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.”
Your relationship with God will keep growing throughout the entire course of your life and we hope The Whole Living Hub community will be a part of that journey for you.
